Notice of Child Find
SAU #102 Goshen
2025
As mandated under the Individuals with Disabilities Act, public schools must provide special education for all children between the ages of 3 and 21 who are determined to be educationally disabled. Additionally, school districts are required to have formal Child Find procedures to locate, evaluate, and count children who may have disabilities to ensure that eligible children are found, classified, and provided with needed services. This law applies to all children, including those in nonpublic schools, preschools, and hospital settings, as well as children who are wards of the state and homeless.
If you suspect that a child may have an educationally disabling condition, you are encouraged to contact the school district in which the child resides to discuss your concerns. School personnel will provide you with information on the procedures for making a referral.
For additional information and to make an appointment, please contact Dr. Gail Paludi, Superintendent SAU #102 at (603) 495-1293 or gpaludi@sau102.nh.gov.

Form to submit a question(s) to the Goshen School Board.
The Goshen School Board is pleased to announce how it used recent COVID-19 funds that were issued by NH DOE Supplemental Public School Response Fund in the amount of $17400. The Board decided to use the funds for 3 activities. The first activity was to purchase customized cloth masks with the name Goshen School District for each student enrolled in the Goshen School District. Each student will receive two masks. Masks can be picked up at the Goshen Town Hall between the hours of 8am and 4pm. You may also email Dr. Paludi at gpaludi@goshenschooldistrictnh.org for other arrangements. The cost of the masks was approximately $2295.
The second activity was focused on our K through 5 students, who all attend Newport School District per the current tuition agreement. We purchased online eSpark licenses for each student. This is an online application that provides supplemental independent practice in literacy and numeracy practice. eSpark is designed to help your child learn independently at his/her unique level. eSpark uses quizzes to adjust your child’s level. This application can be used on any device that has access to the internet. To learn more about the online program use this link: https://www.esparklearning.com/. Dr. Paludi has sent a letter to Goshen families of K-5 students explaining how to access this system for use with your child or children. If you have questions, please contact Dr. Paludi. The total cost of K-5 eSpark licenses was $1484.
The third activity was to send all remaining COVID-19 funds to the Newport School District. Given that Newport School District currently receives the largest percentage of enrolled Goshen School District students we felt these funds could be used to ensure that sufficient safety materials are available to Goshen students. Approximately $13546 will be sent to the Newport School District.
The remaining $75 was used to cover the costs of Zoom license to provide a platform for remote meetings.
